Language is not optional
English-only interfaces exclude most of the addressable market. Regional language support with genuinely translated content, not machine-translated labels, changes adoption materially.
Voice input helps where typing in a regional script is slow.
Design for intermittent connectivity
Assume the connection drops mid-action. Local-first writes and background sync are the baseline requirement.
Show clear sync state so users know their action was recorded.
Payment familiarity drives conversion
UPI is the default expectation. Cash on delivery still matters in many categories, and its absence removes a segment entirely.
Offer the methods your users already trust, even when they cost you more to process.
Where to go from here
If you are weighing inclusive product design for an upcoming project, the useful next step is usually a short scoping conversation rather than a longer article. Bring your constraints — budget, timeline, existing systems, and the team you already have — and the decision usually resolves itself in an hour.
We run these as a fixed-scope discovery session with a written recommendation at the end, including the cases where our advice is that you do not need us.
